As ...My condolences to you and yours on the loss! <br /><br />As an atheist I fully understand where you are coming from; and the older I get the more I appreciate how good ritual is at observing life changes (birth, marriage, death) and how those traditions sooth us. I just wish it was possible to have ritual removed from religious significance...well maybe someday.
